You wouldn’t expect to call your local friendly electrician and ask him to make you a pair of curtains, you wouldn’t go in to your local bakery and ask them to do an oil change on your car. So why do so many businesses think that they don’t need a designer, or a photographer or a copy writer and they will do a better job themselves?

I’ve spent nearly 18 years battling the tide on this question. The marketing industry seems to be one where all our years of training and development, decades of experience all seem to count for nothing. Everyone is a website designer, everyone is a social media manager, everyone is an expert but not everyone is getting the results?
